The Privacy Act Review Report (PARR) was released for public consultation on 16 February 2023. The release of the PARR marks the next phase of the review of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act Review) which commenced in October 2020.
This article provides a background to the Privacy Act Review and an overview of the comprehensive reforms proposed in the PARR.
